• Is ScoutStreak safe for my kid? +

  Yes — safety is the foundation, not a feature. Every post, comment, and message is screened by AI before being posted. Unverified accounts cannot DM minors. Parents get a dedicated safety dashboard with full visibility into messages and contacts. Under-13 accounts are COPPA-compliant. A five-tier enforcement system handles everything from coaching moments to permanent bans. No ads, no data selling, no attention-economy dark patterns.

• What is the Sportsmanship Score? +

  A behavioral score that recruiters can see alongside athletic stats. Athletes earn it through encouragement, teammate shoutouts, coach endorsements, and on-platform leadership. They lose it through trash talk and negativity. Tiers run Rookie Spirit → Team Player → Captain Material → Exemplary Athlete → Sportsmanship Elite. Some programs and scholarship partners treat the score as a real eligibility input. Character counts as much as stats.

• How do I know I'm talking to a real recruiter? +

  Every college recruiter on ScoutStreak signs up with an institutional email and confirms a 6-digit code before they can send a single message. Once verified, the ScoutStreak Verified bolt appears next to their name everywhere — search results, message threads, camp invitations, profile views. One badge, one bar, no decoding. Recruiters without the bolt can't send camp invitations, and parents see a warning before their athlete responds to an unverified account. Re-verification runs annually so the badge stays honest as staff move between programs.

• Can my whole coaching staff use ScoutStreak? +

  Yes. Coach Pro includes staff management: invite assistants by text link, assign role-based permissions (sign letters, manage roster, view-only), and roll the depth chart forward each year. Every action is logged for the AD. Graduating classes archive automatically. The Recruiting Action Center surfaces which athletes aren't getting seen so your staff can intervene before the season ends.

• I'm a recruiting consultant. How does ScoutStreak work for me? +

  You get a dedicated console to manage every client in one place — exposure scores, recruiter activity, profile health, action items, evaluations, and PDF progress reports. The platform earns you 15% recurring commission on every athlete subscription you refer through your code. Consultants advise — they don't replace coaches or recruiters, and they can't message college programs on behalf of athletes (preserving the athlete-recruiter relationship colleges care about). Background check is required to work with minors. Certified Partner badge sets verified consultants apart in our directory. Consultant Pro is $49.99/month for up to 25 active clients.

• When does ScoutStreak launch? +

  Both the web console and the mobile (athlete + parent) apps launch Fall 2026. Demo profiles are already available at demo.scoutstreak.com so you can explore the recruiter, coach, and consultant surfaces today. Joining the launch list gets you first-wave access along with development updates between now and then.

• Which sports are covered at launch? +

  All 14 NCAA sports — football, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, wrestling, swimming, tennis, ice hockey, track & field, golf, and cross country. Each has sport-specific stats, position taxonomies, recruiting timelines, and contact rules.

• How is real-time NCAA compliance different from what already exists? +

  Existing tools document violations after the fact. ScoutStreak refuses to send a non-compliant message in the first place — contact windows, division rules, and recruiting periods are enforced at the moment of outreach. Every audit trail exports to a single PDF for compliance officers.

• Is this for athletes only, or also for parents, coaches, and consultants? +

  All five roles. Athletes, high school coaches, college recruiters, parents, and independent recruiting consultants each get a dedicated experience built around their workflow.   Yes. Athletes and parents start free — verified profile, social feed, sportsmanship tracking, and the parent safety dashboard all included at no cost. Athlete Pro starts at $19.99/mo, Athlete Elite is $39.99/mo for unlimited Scout AI. Coach Pro is $49.99/mo, Coach Plus is $99.99/mo for multi-staff. Consultant Pro is $49.99/mo. • How does the platform handle NIL? +

  Every post an athlete makes on ScoutStreak builds their professional portfolio for future collegiate NIL. The behavioral graph treats verified offers, coach endorsements, and recruiter activity as first-class events. Full NIL marketplace integration is on the roadmap — the foundation is being built now.

• How is Scout AI different from other recruiting tools? +

  Scout is a conversational AI assistant that knows your sport, your stats, and your goals. Other tools generate generic emails. Scout drafts personalized outreach that references specific things about each program — coaching style, recent record, academic strengths — using your real stats and film. Every email Scout drafts includes a link to your verified ScoutStreak profile, so when a coach clicks through, they see video, endorsements, and social proof instantly. Scout also acts as a development advisor — tell it your 40-yard time and it shows where you rank by division, gives you a drill plan, and finds relevant camps near you.

• What happens to my account when I commit or graduate? +

  When you commit to a college program, your ScoutStreak profile becomes an Athlete Showcase Card — a permanent snapshot of your HS career stats, ScoutStreak Score, top highlight, and coach endorsement. It lives on your school's team page and the college program's page, inspiring the next class of athletes. Your subscription pauses automatically — no more charges. You approve exactly how your showcase looks before your account transitions. If you graduate without a commitment, your account stays fully active for 12 months in case you're exploring JUCO, post-grad, or walk-on opportunities.
